My boyfriend wants to get me an e-ring after we graduate from grad school, but until then he wants to get me an eternity band. I am looking for a half or 3/4 eternity band for under a grand that I can wear along. I'm a newbie at fancy jewelry so I would appreciate any help! 
Oh and, is it acceptable to wear it on my left hand even though we are not engaged? Or should it be a rhr? This is important for sizing, as i am a whole size different.
