Never owned a colour stones before. Your threads helped me understand that CS are beautiful))!

now I am trying to imagine and create my own CS ring

found this beautiful spinel from Annie
I have a video too but don’t know how to attach it

Please tell me what do you think?

Did you get a handshot of this spinel? How does it look in the video, do all the facets in the middle return light? Trying to check if there‘s a window so you don’t end up with a dark center. I think the cut is probably good, but do make sure.

And yes, the color is gorgeous!

This is what Annie told me about this stone

for the center stone weight is 1.1 ct. (6x6 mm) price is $200
cutting is cushion step cut, clarity is eyeclean.
stone no any treatments.

Ah, it’s so pretty! Yeah I can see it’s well cut, just know you’ll be seeing those dark triangles in the center when you are in the sun (as opposed to all the facets lighting up at the same time). But it’s geometric, you can think of it as coming with the asscher cut (just like ovals come with bow ties).

On a pastel pink spinel like that, it will be nearly impossible to lose sparkle. I say set it however you like!!
