I originally bought my wife’s engagement ring due to all the advice on here. I went with Blue Nile for the fact that I had a Blue Nile card at the time as well. Prefacing this since in order to get the 100% back, I have to order with them and at double my original price. The diamond I got the first go round was .9 and I’m looking for something in the 1.3-1.5 range and considering a Halo setting. I feel like I got very lucky on the one I chose, and it seems to show in person. I’m basically here hoping someone can point me to a diamond on BN that is about $8k or less and in that size range. Round shape.
When I bought the first diamond I used a thread here regarding the pavilion and crown angles etc. attached the GIA for reference.
