Hi There,
First post, been lurking for a couple of weeks now. Apologies if this is in the wrong spot.
I've done a bit of research and have a rough idea on how to find the right diamond for the e-ring I'm going to have made for my girlfriend...
I've narrowed it down to 3 diamonds, based on the following criteria:
$11,000 Canadian max budget (which is about $8,500 US)
Excellent Cut minimum
Prefer over 1.30 Carats (I'm lucky, she has a 4.5 ring finger)
Clarity VS2 minimum
Colour: Here's my internal debate - the stone will be set in a 14k gold band, solitaire, 6 prong. I'm thinking platinum prongs (not sure if that's a thing, want the prongs to be silver but figure platinum will be more sturdy and provide the same look). The problem is I'm almost certain she will not like a diamond with a faint colour. I can achieve the specs I'm looking for especially by dropping colour grades, but I'm wary of anything beyond H.
Fluorescence: From what I've read, I'm fine with anything except strong.
So, with that said, here's what I've found (note: I'm not great reading idealscope images yet, however the whiteflash stone seems like the best one.) These diamonds are all below 2 on the HCA tool I used...

What are your thoughts? Remember that faint colour could make one of these diamonds an epic failure... not sure to what extent gold band may negate that though?
PS: This diamond was my favourite by a mile, but I couldn't secure an IS image for it:
