Hi,

Would you please advise on which of the following diamond has a better cut proportion overall?

These are both ACAs so AGS000 H&A stones highly vetted stones.

Ask for a photo of them side by side. Maybe one will speak to you.

Personally, since the cost is relatively the same I'd grab the bigger one.

Thank you. The 1.8ct has a girdle thickness of 3.8%, depth of 61.7% and table of 55.9%. The 1.7ct has a girdle thickness of 3.5%, depth of 61.3% and table of 56.7%. Will the thicker girdle+depth and smaller table of the 1.8ct cause the diamond to look smaller or duller?

of the 2 options, I select the slightly larger one 1.84ct.

Thanks for your input. The girdle on the 1.84ct is thicker at 3.8%, depth is deeper and the table is small compared to the 1.72ct. Would this penalize on the sparkle and make the 1.8 look smaller?

Any reason for such high clarity?

I would choose this one. It's 8mm and an nice, clean VS2.

Thank you. It is indeed a very nice stone. However, I selected VVS just for ease of mind as I originally wanted an IF diamond. Any thoughts on those 2 diamonds?

They are both AGS 000 H&A stones you can't make a bad choice here both will have excellent light return.

Beautiful stones. I'll take either one!

An average of 7.71mm seems to be a good size for the 1.72ct. However, the average diameter for the 1.84ct is 7.86mm. Will this diameter small relative to its carat weight?

No, this is the correct diameter for its weight. IMO, The total depth at 61.7% is perfect.

my opinion is that either is a PERFECT choice. IF i were you, and i had to pick only 1 of the two diamonds, i would select the slightly larger one.

@Lilyh I think you're over-analyzing at this point. I know its a big purchase so certainly understandable. These stones are highly vetted in order
to make the ACA line. If they missed they would perhaps make the Expert Selection or the Premium Select categories. These two stones meet
ALL the requirements and have the images (Aset, Idealscope, and H&A) to prove they are Ideal performers along with their AGS000 papers showing
that the have Ideal Light Return, Polish, and Symmetry.

You can ask for a side-by-side picture and ask your SA to walk you through each of the two stones. Just trying to help you figure out a way you'll
be more comfortable with your choice. I think I can say that anyone of us would be happy to have either stone (I know that doesnt help make your
choice any easier)!

i would be happy with either choice! so i'd go for the larger one!

I believe you are deeply over-analyzing the stones. Whiteflash has done the analysis for you. You are buying branded ACA. You are safe there. They are nearly identical (minus the size.)
