Hello everyone,

I've been lurking these forums and researching elsewhere online for a few weeks now. I've been on a quest to get the best diamond for my buck. After numerous visits to local jewellers and online stores, I think that i've finally settled on the diamond for myself.

My budget for the entire ring, diamond and setting included, is 5000 singapore dollars (3650 USD). I've been looking at G coloured stones with a clarity of SI1/VS2.

I narrowed the search down to these four Whiteflash diamonds, and placed one on reserve for the weekend. I'm looking to lock in my purchase on monday. I'd be super grateful if you guys could give me some advice on my choice of diamond. Thank you very much!

my choice : https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-4027979.htm

The other three choices: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/compare.aspx?idnos=4027979,4027998,3945629,3950136

I think the stone you reserved is beautiful! I kind of like the other ACÁ a bit better (smaller table), but I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. The premium selects are quite nice too but getting into even larger tables.

Just my two cents.

They are quite perfect, of course...

There is one slightly discounted in stock WWW I would consider comparable, unlesss the H&A pedigree has meaning to you in itself.

thanks for the replies guys. I'm just wondering if a diamond like this has a notable difference in light performance compared to an ACA cut... i haven't been able to compare two diamonds like that with my own eyes.

I'd love if someone could share their experience.

Would they have a significant difference in light performance? what exactly is the consequence of the larger tables?

Smaller tables can increase the opportunity for coloured 'fire', if I understand things correctly.

It is a small, specific difference in the position of perhaps only one facet, so I could say the same: I have not made this comparison exactly. WF could help with this.
