Help me pick between these 3!

Hi there,

New to the forums and am looking to buy my first diamond. I've been reading up plenty and would love some help/advice on the following 3 diamonds for an engagement ring. Here are the specs:

Color: I
Clarity: SI1
Cut: Excellent
Polish/Symm: Ex/Ex
Fluor: None
HCA: 1.9

Color: I

Idealscope for #2

Do you have / can you get idealscopes for the other 2?

The IS you posted looks ok - pretty good light return, but does not appear to be a true H&A, if that's what you're after.

Unfortunately, JA told me that they cannot get idealscopes for the other two since they are not within their NY area. I'm not dead set on H&A so that is ok, just making sure the price looks good for the diamond.

I guess a better question since I'm leaning towards #2 is, does it justify to pay the extra ~$900 for #2 over #1?

The only thing that bugs me about that one is the mark on the table... but I doubt it's visible at 1x

I would probably see that and want to wipe it off like a piece of lint.

Yeah, I think I feel the same way. I've limited my search to JA and I think I should probably expand to look at some other online stores. With a budget of $6000, what's your take on the deal I have with #2?
