Help me pick a ~0.5 round diamond from bluenile

I’m looking to buy a round diamond ring from Bluenile.
I am based in the UK so ideally would like to buy from Blue Nile due to the inclusion of VAT and easier returns.


Max budget for the round diamond would be around £1000.

Regarding colour I think J or above (as the band is going to be yellow Gold J should be OK from what I have read and would allow the budget to be spent on a better cut).

Size ~0.5+ (max 0.7)

We want it to be as close to eye clean as possible but it is not super important for it to hold up perfectly under a microscope). SI2 or above I guess?

It would be amazing if you could help me find a good value diamond that will grisly sparkle.

We were also looking at https://www.bluenile.com/uk/diamond-details/LD11840953 which is a bit cheaper. Is the main issue with this the proportions? Perhaps it is slightly deep?

All of the stones I suggested are good picks. The stone that you are looking at is not a well cut diamond. I would recommend that you remove it form your list, it’s not a good selection.

Too deep AND doesn't have complimentary angles within the ranges we recommend. A definite no. Stick with the ones that @SimoneDi recommended.
