I’ve been on a bit of a spree recently. In addition to my bangle and pad sapphire, I also got this from Ivy and Rose.

He’s made of buttery articulated 14k gold covered in black rhodium, with a tsav head, yellow diamond eyes, and diamond scales on head and tail.

Just look at that cute face!
He needs a name though and I’m bad at this sort of thing. Help!

Prince. It looks like he’s wearing an emerald crown.

Haha. Prince was just a bit before my time. Did he wear an emerald crown on an album cover?

The snake motif was popular in Victorian times as a symbol of eternal love; Queen Victoria received an engagement ring from Prince Albert in a serpent design with emerald set head. I vote for the name ‘Bitten’.

Ooo. Maybe “bit” for short. Also cause I’m the office computer nerd.

Haha Prince Albert would not be a good name for him. I once (in my more innocent days) googled “Prince Albert” while doing a middle school research project on Monoco royalty. Boy was that a really confusing image search result.

I also just noticed he has miligrain under the tsav. Crazy detailed.

Keep it real with Snak·y. :lol-2:

Charmy. He looks like a beautiful snake from a snake charmer.

Gaga likes her snake ring too.

Aww I love your little guy @MakingTheGrade. Super adorable.:kiss2: How about Shesha.

Nagas, or snake deities in Hindu mythology— represent death and rebirth, fertility, wisdom, and knowledge. Shesha, king of the Nagas, is said to hold all the planets on his hoods

I love snakes. Enjoy your beautiful ring.:appl:

I second 'Alan', in honour of Alan Rickman who played Severus Shape in the Harry Potter films.

Aw I love that backstory! And I do sort of love a snake named Alan. He thinks he’s people, but he’s just a silly danger noodle!

I think Alan it is. Thanks for all the great suggestions guys!

Hiss

Serpico!

Aw, Alan is Jewel of the Week! He's so honored!
He hasn't left my finger since I adopted him. I'll try to get some pics in sunlight later on since it's Halloween soon!

I’ve had a lot of compliments and curiousity about him.

Well, I was gonna suggest Envy - but Alan is definitely a name I can get behind!

Slithereen.

Aww. Envy sounds too sinister. He’s a good long boy!
