help me find my dream OMC elongated warmer ideally 2.5 - 3 ct [or "spready"]

Did you get a cert on the 3.13 L? I wonder if the girdle is bruted.

How do you feel about warmth? The N looks pretty. Like @Dreamer_D the setting has me a bit perplexed. The basket is very similar to the platinum Art Deco baskets of my five stone.

Here's the GIA GIA-3.13.jpg

sako sold the 3.13 ct stone so that's off the table. I'm back to the drawing board!
if you see anything and think of me, let me know!

thanks all!

Yes I thought it had a fleur de lis feel.

I’d need more pictures but both stones look promising.

The setting is puzzling. The head looks authentic by the shank does not to me. Its pretty either way.

Yes the diamond is about as good as it gets, though of course it needs to be evaluated in person to be sure.

Oh good to know I can "see it". Its maven lane antiques. Someone should buy it! I love their stuff and their prices seem fair.

I just had my heart set on something that I haven't found yet. I guess or I have missed a couple times.

The pricing is all over the place. So that's frustrating.

Sako s 3.13 carat OMC was $20,000. I saw a similar ish Stone and inquired about it. 70,000!!!

I'm so glad you can go see it. You need to see it and see what your eyes prefer as our preferences might be different.

There's vendors with high markup so pricing can be all over the place. My HG stone's pricing was few thousand different depending on the vendor. Certain things may command a premium i.e if it was in a genuine antique setting and if the setting was a designer piece.

I think OP meant they are glad they can “see” a well cut stone. Not that they will see it in person. But agree it’s necessary.

I found one that looks pretty good
Ok it's NOT an elongated OMC. It's OEC but feels OMC ish.

I think she might be a good one? Well within budget so I could get a band too.

Original setting. N VS2
8.74x8.93x5.82
40% table
65.9% depth
Faint flor.
Does list chip feather indented natural and extra facet in imperfections gia

Thank you

This looks like a repro setting. Like Erstwhile or Single Stone. It’s pretty tho. Diamond is lovely and looks antique

I’ve seen Maven Lane market things I’ve been highly skeptical of - eg she was selling a poorly cut MRB as a transitional a few years back and I tried to engage in a convo about it but …I have no way of knowing for sure but the GIA report didn’t make sense from memory

I’d need to see more images but there are antiques with this type of make. They would have been cut much closer to the transition to MRB. I’d be very curious to see more images. But Circe has (had?) a stone cut like that.
