I’m tossing around the idea of a small (like 35-45 point) pear to make a pendant for Christmas for my sister in law, to represent her tears. I’m not sure yet if this would be too personal or too dumb (it comes from the real story of the steel magnolia family, Drum bought his wife a pear necklace “the last tear”)
I guess my parameters would be eye clean and H color. I don’t know her preferences for color, so I think an H would be safe, maybe even an I.
I’m not sure how to buy a pear without a pronounced bow tie.
I’m in the mood to shop, so this might be good for me to do today. Any vendor is good, all the usuals plus B2C (I have had great luck with them) and Martin at USA certified, etc. diamonds by Lauren.... anyone recommended here.
I would greatly appreciate any links to stones... thank you.
Oh and a pendant setting with a single bale. I can’t stand rabbit ears.
