I updated my studs folks! I was reacting to the white gold and the previous martini setting had too much metal imo. So, DKJ was kind enough to redo them, so without further ado...here are the updated studs! Same diamonds 1.2 ctw, F VS1 ACA set in custom 3 prong martini settings, platinum with protector backs. David also was able to make my jackets with with studs. I'm thrilled with them now! They go on very easily and I feel very special and sparkly!

gorgeous! Could you tell us more about the jackets? I’d love to see additional pics / specs (and price, if you’re willing to share!). I’m thinking about a similar set-up in the coming months! I love the gentle scalloped look of the jackets.

Thank you @KristinTech I actually got these jackets from Costco 5-7 years ago and they fit my old studs beautifully. I made a very small size increase but HUGE quality increase in my diamonds and the settings. I think David maybe stretched the jackets or did something to make them fit lol! I really didn't want to spend more money to get new jackets. I'll be happy with this size for a while. Eventually, these studs will be sides for a 3 stone with my ering, as it's a 1.17 ct. And then I'll upsize the diamonds when I get to my ering goal size of 1.8 and I'll get 1.8 tcw studs.
Sorry I don't have more info on you for the jackets! I've got a busy day but I'll get pictures of the jackets for you soon!

You're right - they do look like little flowers! They semi match my BG dream setting for my ering, so they have a heart motif and flower motif...beautiful in both regards! Your studs really inspired me because when I looked at yours I see only gorgeous diamonds and no metal! Thank you for your lovely compliments. :kiss2:

Thank you for these pics! I love how there is very little metal (i.e., weight) at the base of the jackets. The studs sit in there nicely, too! I don’t want my studs to stand up/out of the jackets. Yours look perfect!

The original La Pousette backs are made in France, but there are several American versions. I have and really like the Guardian II Comfort Trigger Back and Post. They are very secure and comfortable. When I was selecting the setting for my studs, and said I wanted the La Pousette back, I was told that the Protektor version hurts people's fingers because the trigger part is straight. The Guardian II Comfort has little flat areas that make it easier/more comfortable to pinch it open/closed. I was also told that the Guardian backs are slightly larger, which I like because I can grip them more easily, but larger backs are not to everyone's taste.

hi there, are Guardian II comfort trigger posts and jumbo push backs the same things? I have protector backs now but need something bigger to keep my studs from drooping. Thank you for your help

No, they are different. Push backs and trigger/la pousette backs have entirely different mechanisms.

Here's a discussion of different solutions to drooping:
