Help me choose! JA thin French pave or Costco Halo

That's a really nice Costco ring! I like the halo setting because I like a lot of bling and finger coverage =)
Do Costco stones come with any certification? If it's not GIA or AGS I would just be concerned that the color and clarity might really be a lower grade than stated.

Thanks for the reply- it's not GIA certified but I've seen the ring in person
and it is one of the nicest rings I've seen so far.

Here are the specs from costco.com

Metal: 950 Platinum
Diamond Shape: Round Brilliant
Center Diamond Weight: .70 ct
Total Diamond Weight: 1.18 ctw
Total number of Diamonds: 118
Clarity: VS2 (Very Slightly Included)
Color: I (Near Colorless)

I really like the simplicity of the jA setting. And honestly Costco is a wonderful place for produce, dvd and crab but I wouldn't want to make a significant diamond setting purchase from them. I would prefer to work with companies that specialize in this industry. I believe that Costco and Sam's lease their space to diamond dealers and I would just be nervous about using them. (I mean I have bought gold hoop earrings there )

I don't like that JA setting. The cads? Great. The real photos? A disappointment. Seems to be more metal than diamonds.

I like this JA setting (add millgraining, they do that for free)

I'd support the Costco one as long as the stone was a well cut AGS or gia stone.

I'd not, I don't think its worth it.

Costco beings still come with a bit of stigma. But if its a well cut diamond for a good price, who cares where it came from.
