I'm looking for a halo setting with a delicate halo, no diamonds on the shank, no air gap, and where the stone sits flush with the halo. I also don't want too high of a setting. I love cathedral settings and delicate bands.

Victor Canera and cvb settings are beautiful but are unfortunately out of my price range. I have emailed David Klass for a quote. Otherwise, I seem to have it narrowed down to these five:

1. http://www.brilliantearth.com/Lotus-Flower-Diamond-Ring-(1/3-ct.-tw...)-Rose-Gold-BE1BD12R2-1152820/?did=2504650&is_tab=1

4. https://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/halo/14k-rose-gold-pave-halo-twisted-shank-solitaire-item-41409

5. https://www.ritani.com/engagement-rings/french-set-halo-diamond-engagement-ring-in-18kt-rose-gold/12499

Please offer comments/ suggestions / recommendations or other alternatives within this price range ($1000 - $2000 CAD).

None. Go with a David Klass setting.

I'm not an expert, unlike gipsy, but I do like 2 and 3

You can call Chris at BE, they come in less expensive than VC and SK
Good luck

That David Klass setting is fantastic. I have a plain shank halo too.

WF has one, as a stock one, you may want to look at. IDJ can also create one for you.

The reason I said no to all of the above is quality. Pave quality is paramount. And you want the best you can afford. That is not what you are going to get from some mass produced Chinese pave operation that these dealers like brilliant earth. There is a reason they are so cheap.

So go for the best you can afford in your budget. Okay?

Okay so DK setting it is. I'm going a little over budget on the setting so I'm going to be trying to trim a bit from my stone budget. Would it be best to source the stone myself online and get it shipped to him, or ask him to source a stone? I'm probably going to be looking at 0.8 ct in I/J colour, excellent cut, eye clean.
