...As if that''s a problem.

About six months ago I bought a seven stone from DBL, and while it''s sparkly and gorgeous, it sort of bothers me that the stones don''t cover all of my finger.

Then, a girl on diamond bistro was selling her pave set, so I snatched it up at a complete STEAL.

But now I''m sort of stuck and need to figure out what looks best. Can you help?

Here is a pic of my cushion solitaire with the seven-stone band from DBL...

Here is the solitaire with pave band

Here is the pave set together, which probably looks better with a diamond.

Thanks everyone!

I realized that I could probably ALSO go with the pave setting and a plain band....hmmmmm

Another thing I wanted to mention is that I do love my solitaire, but the basket is really bothering me because it won''t allow a band to sit flush. One day I hope to make a new solitaire but the same shank, but without the basket.

Hmm, tough choice. I actually LIKE the gap, so I think I'd vote for keeping your solitaire with the pave band. But if you dislike the gap.... maybe the pave setting, and pave band?

ETA: For some reason, I don't like the DBL band with your ering quite as much.

I voted for the first set..I like the gap aswell! I seen that pave set on bistro for sale..it was well priced, but the diamonds didn''t seem that great. Not a fan of that set..again, I like #1!

Thanks icekid...I do like the gap too! But I''m worried about wearing the prongs down and all that jazz. And the profile of the two rings together doesn''t look right, imo. And it sort of bothers me I can''t see the culet.

lol. I''m just a little indecisive.

I love the first set, very classic looking.

I actually got it for a lot less than it was advertised for.

The diamonds are extremely sparkly in person...more so than the seven stone.

So far, people seem to be loving the seven stone the most!

I like the pave band with the plain solitaire, I think. Because they''re both a bit wider, if you reset your cushion into the pave setting your diamond might get lost with all the bling of the e-ring setting and wedding band. I''m bad at visualizing, though...maybe someone can photoshop your diamond into the setting?

I like the solitare with the pave band the best!

i absolutely love the pave set!!! your cushion would look gorgeous in there!

MMmmmm I love the first set with the seven stone and solitaire. But totally a matter of opinion. Either way, you will have a beautiful set, no matter what.

What a rough life ;) ;)

Also, I can try to photoshop that tomorrow if you''d like.

I''m far from an expert at it, but its worth a try??

I''m going to vote "none of the above", and put in an option for having the cushion set east-west, and then paired with your seven stone

Thanks everyone.
Looks like the seven stone and solitaire are WAY ahead of the other options. But what about the lack of finger coverage?

I took all the rings on a field trip to the grocery store (yes, I''m the crazy ps''er who wears an unset ring to the store), and the seven stone blew the pave set out of the park. Soooooo confused. I love the prongs on the pave setting...but I''m still not sure.
The seven stone is made of H/SI3 stones, and a couple of the stones are very visibly included, although I was told it was eye clean. That bothers me too, besides the lack of finger coverage. Sigh.

Right now I''m leaning on just keeping the two bands and interchanging them whenever I see fit. For now, at least! Whichever ring isn''t acting as my band I''ll wear on my right hand.

Purrfectpear...ooh don''t you be giving me any more ideas!

I''m a flush fit fan and voted for the pave set. I think the 7 stone will look great as a RHR.

Solitaire and 7-stone. its totally ''you'' and makes the stones pop independently of each other but also works as a set. I think you''re cushion would get lost in the pave, personally.

I love the first set also. I think that they suit each other and look great together.

I voted for the pave set together.

Another vote for the Pave!!

Well I voted for the pave set which is funny because I''m not usually a matchy type person but for some reason I like the look of it better than the 7 stone with your current ring.

Ditto, with your stone I like the glittery pave instead of the scene-stealing seven stone.

Pave set! I just like the way it sits flush and seems to have more presence. Since you already own it, it wouldn''t be a big deal to try it out for a while and see if you do like it, since the basket is bothering you on your present ring.

LOVE the solitaire with 7 stone! could you tell me the size of the ones? i''m in the market for a band too!

That first set looks amazing together...

Sure...the ring is .41ctw I believe. So I guess the stones are 6-pointers and one 5-pointer. My center stone is 1.08.

FI likes the pave set the best, but he may just be saying that because I just bought it! lol. I''m so confused. The seven stone is the clear winner...but the pave set is so comfortable. And I really don''t know which one I like best! AHHH.

How much does it cost to set a ring? Maybe I''ll just rotate every few months. LOL.

I really love the cushion solitaire with the pave band because I am not really a matchy matchy kind of girl!

I don''t know why but I really like the pave set - it''s lovely!

can we photoshop the cushion into the pave set? (by "we" I mean someone way more talented than myself...ha)...
I''d like to see if the GORGEOUS stone gets lost or takes a backseat in all the glitter...

how fun to have options!!
