Hello, I recently purchased a pair of salt and pepper pear shaped diamonds to turn into stud earrings. They are about 1.2 cts each, but one stone doesn't have the same nicely finished point as the other.

I'm looking for help finding mounting options that will help make this pair of pears look more similar.

I'm not looking for perfection, as you can tell by the very included stones, but I would like to have the setting be a step in the right direction. Thank you! Screenshot_20190714-212520.png

I think a semi halo with coloured melee would work. I see it done at both the curved end and the point end, leaving the sides open.
Like the bottom curve part, say 7 gems and 3 at the point end.
To celebrate the difference of the diamonds, I’d actually chose multi colour melee rather than just 1 colour.
I would think of using slightly bigger size melee gems on the smaller one would improve the optical appearance of making them more similar in size.

I think we’ve seen two projects here somewhat recently using either bezel width, or an airline/halo used to fool the eye in evening out somewhat mismatched stones in size and shape for earrings.
