So I need some help picking out a stone, I have four options all Si1 eye clean no fluorescence, all priced in the same range. Color is a priority for me, which has an excellent cut and shines real bright. I don’t mind the lower clarity because they are eye clean. Which one would you choose:
Stone 1
1.55 F Si1
7.49 – 7.5
Excellent Cut
Very good Polish and Symmetry
Depth 60.7
Crown Angle 35
Pavilion – 40.8
HCA Score – 1.5, everything is excellent except spread which is rated very good
Stone 2
1.5 E Si1
7.4-7.42
Excellent Cut
Polish Very Good, Symmetry Excellent
Depth 60.5
Table 59
Crown Angle 33.5
Pavilion Angle 41
HCA Score - 1.4 Everything excellent except scintillation and spread rated very good
Stone 3
1.5 G Si1 Hearts and Arrows
7.36 – 7.38
Ideal Cut grade 0
Depth 61.3
Table 57
Crown Angle 35
Pavilion Angle – 40.8
HCA Score – 1.2 everything excellent but spread rated very good
Stone 4 –
1.54 F Si1
7.49-7.5
Excellent Cut, Polish, and Symmetry
Depth 60
Table 59
Crown Angle 34
Pavillion Angle 40.8
HCA score – 1.4, everything is excellent but scintillation which scored very good
I am going to be setting the Diamond in yellow gold. I really like the cut of stone 3 being hearts and arrow, but am worried about the G color. Stone 2 is amazing with the E color, but I do not like the large 59 table and only getting very good for scintillation in HCA report. Stone 4 also worries me with the 59 table, but it is triple excellent and F color. While Stone 1 is F and has a good size table, but am worried about the only very good polish/symmetry. I know I am being very specific but could you guys help me prioritize. Like should I not worry about color so much and go with the best cut. Also should I not care about very good polish/symmetry and sacrifice the table. For example would you rather have excellent polish/symmetry or a smaller table around 57. Thanks guys for the help!!
