Yes, east-west setting. The setting is a bit different and I think the moval is just classy and elegant. I love the moval.

Why not put a deposit down and have them both sent to you for your eyes to do the selecting? Then you can show us lots of marquise moval pics and your thoughts.

I'm gonna go against the grain here. The moval kind of confuses me. I like those pointy, defining ends. However, the main thing would just be that it's well cut.

I choose the moval because from the stills I can see (tbh the vids don’t work) the moval looks like a noticeably better cut.

I agree. In person the chunkier facets get me every single time. All antique cuts feel whimsical, understated elegance and classical beauties all at once.

That too for sure, I just don’t think that marquise is all that well cut.

If it’s any moval vs any marquise there are points to be made on either side

If it’s stone moval vs stone marquise. This local definitely outperforms

Ok, my ring is here! Went with the antique moval and I couldn’t be happier. The pictures don’t do this ring justice. Also, it looks super white in all lighting, even in the sunlight (no blue cast like my previous mrb).
