Long time reader, first time commenter! I am looking to propose to my girlfriend soon, and have been in the hunt for a diamond for a while now. She tried on a couple rings a while back (just for fun) and absolutely loved the size and look of a modern cut 3ct (shocking right?). Anyway, I have been working with Mark from ERD who has been incredible, and I think we are nearing the end of my search and wanted to get some of your opinions on two diamonds.
The specs are:
- 3.01 GVS2

I did ask him about the inclusion I can see under the table on the 3.01GVS2, he said that it was nothing to worry about (thoughts?).
I was wondering anyone's view on the G vs H color. I do know that color is seen a lot easier on larger diamonds, and was worried that the 3.31 H would look "warm", has anyone had any experience with this color range/size?
Finally, something that has worried me. Since we are dealing with a modern cut, Mark doesn't think that seeing the ASET results or anything will help me, and should I really avoid buying a diamond without it, or really push him to send me these results? I realize that (after reading about many people's awesome experiences with him) he has an incredible eye for cushions, and he feels that sometimes people can rely too heavily on the ASET test and have it take away from how they think it looks. I worry about leakage and stuff though, which the ASET test will show, not sure though, anyone?
