Hi Kids!
Dee Jay, Wow to the 84” TV. I think ours if 75” or 80” and it was a major chore to get it mounted on the wall. Good idea to stay out of that task. We had our hopper and Apple TV plugged in and behind the TV on the wall. The Hopper needs rebooted sometimes but so far I’ve managed to get it going again with the remote. Your thrillometer is about as pegged as mine is. Woo hoo for packing tape on sale. Good deal to getting your steps in most of the time. One of the things I like about lifting is I only do it twice a week. We were up late last night with taking pictures, but since Marty was in the observatory working on stuff, I didn’t take many pictures. Hopefully tonight will be better. He is working on focusing stuff. Yes, our wind out here is NUTS. Ugh to the wrong shoes for the wedding. I only had tennis shoes anymore. If we go somewhere fancy, I wear my black ones. I am too unsteady on my feet even in them.
Deegee, Darla is a cutie, I hope she adopts quickly to hear new loving home. It’s a good sign she hangs out with you and gets along with Ruby. I felt like I was on a staycation for about a month after I retired too. A month later I was looking for something to do. And we know where that ended up. I do enjoy that all sky camera. We get Huey’s flying over at night since an air base is south of us. It looks like a really bright meteor. I told people that at work once and they believed it. Then I posted a “just kidding”. My carpel tunnel is a little less agitated this weekend. I’ve been sleeping some with my Velcro brace again. The tender clumpy spot seems to have migrated up my arm a bit. I can crochet, but I have to watch every single stitch.
Not much new with us. Between work and play, I don’t get much else done. I did get a picture of a nova and shot a galaxy I’ve already done, but got a better picture of it. Marty is heading out on Monday to the astronomy convention / star party on Monday. I was going to have friends from my photo shop days over for lunch next Saturday, but the our builder’s warranty guy is coming by Saturday from 1 to 4 to work on things, so I’ll have to rethink that. We’ve almost been here a year.
Take care.
