Has anyone seen this ring from Blue Nile in person. Need help with diamond clarity of S2

Any inclusion has the ability to affect fire and sparkle. The type and location and size helps us determine to what extent. I see these are small stones and have no specific certs to analyze.

The majority of SI2 stones are not eye clean; however, depending on specific size it may be a non issue.

Looking at the page I only saw the stones were approximately H color according to their page. I didn't see a clarity. I am guessing you asked?

For a small fee would they be willing to utilize an upgraded clarity set of stones?

Thank you for your response. Yes I asked about the clarity:cry2: Like you I thought about upgrading .It seemed like huge deal to upgrade the stones. They woul have to ask te manufacturer and make a new CAD(?). So I gather the price would double.

Most store bought bands are going to be si or I and you just have to see it to decide.

You could always clarify the return policy, and if acceptable, go ahead and order with the intent to scrutinize upon arrival and return for a refund if necessary.

Alternatively, have you considered asking David Klass (DK) if he can duplicate a custom piece for you? Then you could control the stone quality and I've found DK prices to be very reasonable.

Quality comes first to me, and I wouldn't buy a diamond ring with small SI2 stones. Always go for good quality. If you ever want to resell, you'll be glad you did.

Agree 100%. However, that sentiment is not shared by all and got me in a few debates/battles on this forum. Why waste time & effort half-a$$ing something? I'm just not built to do things "okay".

SI2 are not part of the definition of poor quality stones, they are slightly included. Si2 stones may be more liable to be poorer quality cuts, but that does not mean they all suck. Budget has to be taken into account. Small ungraded SI2 stones will be dubious quality, but so far most tiny stones regardless of clarity, unless an extra premium is made.

Si-2 stones could be twinning wisps or a feather. Some of us have eye clean SI-2 diamonds. They are out there but you have to look harder to find them.

:wavey:Thank you everyone
Dont suppose anyone has the Monique Lhullier Garland band in rose gold or this cherie on. Would love some pics, preferably hand shots.
