Has anyone ever ordered a loose diamond off James Allen?

I just ordered a diamond from James Allen ( no setting) and I am wondering if anyone here has ever ordered a loose diamond from them? If so how long did it take to receive it? I am really hoping my diamond gets here by the end of next week, but I won’t count on it.....
I will update this thread when it comes in so that others can get an idea on how long it takes if they ever want to know.

I would recommend calling and asking the vendor what their timeline for delivery is and when you can expect tracking information. Questions like this are best answered at the source. This is a busy time for most jewelers and that can mean extended lead times, so it is always best to contact them directly and see what they say.

The web site should list the expected delivery date. If someone ordered today, the estimated delivery date is the 14th.

From their FAQ:
"To allow time for proper inspection by our gemologists, loose diamonds are shipped 1-4 days after payment. All shipping is FedEx Priority. All other jewelry and engagement rings will be shipped in one to three weeks, depending on the production schedule of that item. Shipping ranges are located on the detail page for each item. Please note: Overnight Friday packages arrive on Monday."

You can use the chat feature on their site and provide an order number and they can tell if the payment has cleared and the item has shipped. If shipped, they should be able to give you the FedEx tracking number.

Thanks all,I did contact them and my diamond is coming from India and they currently have a holiday over there so it’s not expected to be shipped out for another week! James Allen has great customer service btw!

I did and it came in two days. I needed to exchange it and they had great turnaround. That was before it was purchased by another company so things may have changed. Also it was 4 years ago.

I also ordered from JA with a two day delivery.

I ordered one a couple of weeks ago. It came in approximately 6 days from India.

And it was incredibly well packaged.

I have ordered several from them. A couple came in two days, a couple took a couple of weeks. Depended if they had it in NY or elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies all. I guess there is a pretty good range of time it can take but either way two weeks isn’t very long. I am so excited and nervous at the same time.
