Has anyone bought from Hound & Eagle? Have you seen the IG craziness? (A buyer beware PSA)

It’s like scammers are too busy scamming to bother with proper use of punctuation, even though it takes more effort to be this wrong.
 
Agree, these people have proved to me, time and time again, that they cannot be trusted!
 
To everyone viewing their site(s)...*** BEWARE!!***
Now they will be scamming on Facebook too!

They never sent me the item they sold to me, last year,
nor will they refund my money. **Internet fraud at it's best.

If you were scammed by them, please take the time to file an IC3 report
to get your cases in the FBI data base.
Also file an FTC report, report to California Attorney General, California
Consumer Affairs and BBB. Email a report to Instagram.
 
Precisely, with those methods of payment, if there was an issue with a purchase, you would have recourse for your monies to be returned.
Alot of money is being made, with little effort, when one item appears to be sold to multiple parties.
 
Bumping this because they are still at it I noticed that they’re advertising something that is clearly not theirs and also just as a PSA since it’s the holiday season and people are buying more jewelry than usual and may not have seen this originally. eBay post from a known reputable company:

Yes, shoppers beware!! This individual is still taking buyer's money and not sending the product, nor refunding your monies, when called out. Con artist, BEWARE! do not
purchase from this company, nor Vagabond Antique and Estate Jewelry Inc.
They are one and the same. I found out the hard way

So hard to believe they have not been arrested. If I recall, from when this first came up, there were several suits against them. I would have thought the police would have become involved.

The address they list as their business address, mailing address and corporation address is actually a post office's address in Agoura Hills. They are off the radar as to where they physically reside.

But I would think with all the lawsuits filed, the humans behind the business are known and finding those addresses is pretty easy.

I don't think that is bad at all. Their photos are being used to commit fraud. Maybe they can have Ebay do something about it.

Lol i wrote them on ebay. They said thank you, but they have given up on trying to stop shady people from stealing pics. Which I ubxerstand even though it's a sad reality

Well it's very disappointing that if they report these things to Ebay the fraudulent listing isn't taken down. And if it happens enough with the same seller, they should be banned from selling there.

These seasoned criminals, lease and rent under other people's names.
They know how to evade the law. They have taken thousands of dollars of people's hard earned money. They have zero remorse. They always have a story.
The latest is allegedly being ripped off by the online bank they deal with.
Prior to that was a car accident. Always a story and always, "I am going to sue them."
BUYER BEWARE....**Hound and Eagle and Vagabond Antique and Estate Jewelry** are one in the same. They took my money and did not send me the items, nor refund what I am owed. The owner recently changed his phone number, nor do I get responses when I write on IG to them. They string you along for over a year saying they will get your money back to you and then block all contact.
 
PSA!! Buyer beware, BEFORE purchases, always do internet searches into seller's backgrounds! Many seller's are ethical, not the experience I endured with this one.IMG_4911.jpg
**My scammer has reappeared on Instagram, as of Oct 1, 2025.
Now under the name of "Vagabondandestate."
He also goes by "Houndandeagle" on IG.

OH NO! This is awful, my heart goes out to you… I cannot imagine what you have been through.

I *just* about purchased an Edwardian moval shaped diamond ring from him two years ago. My hubby and I had saved for two years. He had given me the thumbs up and out of curiosity I did a reverse google image search. The exact photos he used popped up under a different seller. I reached out to that seller who confirmed Hounds & Eagle had stolen his photos and never had the ring.

It still makes me want to vomit thinking about how close I came to being one of his many victims.
