Hello all -
I am working on another ring that has a vintage feel to it. On a sapphire ring that I own, I have always loved the fact that it has a non-shiny finish but I am not sure what treatment has been applied to give it a matte finish. I don’t want to wait for the patina to just naturally age and dull. I have tried looking this up but I can only find articles about black rhodium plating. Can someone tell me if that is what has been done on my sapphire ring so I can better explain this.
