Long time lurker, first time poster! :wavey:

I am on the hunt for screw back diamond studs and am discovering with a limited budget unless I sacrifice on quality the size is going to be quite lacking. I am quite fond of halo settings so figure this might be a good route to get more lobe coverage. Can anyone recommend a good vendor that has halo studs at a good price? Most I have found are far more expensive than just upping carat size a little.

What are your desires diamond qualities and price range?

Hoping to stick around $600US. I will go anywhere from G-J in colour and SI1-SI2 clarity, my main concern is the cut grade really and would like excellent cut only to maximise fire. I know I can get a 0.30ct or 0.40ct pair in my price range from IDJ, was just thinking a smaller centre with halo might give better coverage. I'm not in to very bold bling so I don't mind it daintier but I have pretty big lobes unfortunately :wall:

I do plan to eventually upgrade to a larger pair and move these ones to my second hole.

Anyone have any ideas for her?

This will get more traffic if you move it to rocky talky. Click report post and ask mod to move it,

Thanks, have reported it.

so I have seen posters here recommend Yekutiel at idjewellery, you could ask him for "pricescope quality", at least that is what I have seen advised here. You could get 0.5 TOTAL CARAT weight for around $600:

or

sadly I cannot find any diamonds on your price range at Brian Gavin diamonds or at White Flash

oh sorry please disregard the above just noticed you tried IDJ!

I would be concerned the halo setting themselves will be over 600$. Is your budget for just the diamonds or does it include the setting? For instance at BlueNile halo setting studs are $900 without stone

They are pretty. I don't want to be a downer but I am not sure they are ideal cut. Perhaps contact the seller to get information including colour grade, clarity and cut.

a bit over budget:

and a different look, but possibly very sparkly as there are lots of small diamonds:
