GUESS THE DIAMOND

It appears the smaller stone is no longer available, unless you’re the one who has it on hold. That is the better stone. Depth is more appropriate and crown and pavillion angles are more complimentary.

Yeah I have this one on reserve. Just didn’t know if I should pay the extra £1000 to go from 1.03 to 1.22 6.44mm to 6.80mm

Between those two I think you’re better off going for the smaller of the two. It’s going to have the better performance. It also looks much more crisp in the videos.

Thanks for your advice. I do like that stone, both confirmed as eye clean no bgm. I mean I could go to I colour but was worried about the tint. I’ve had a H in my possession before and did not notice the tint so I’m pretty happy with H

The cuts of these diamonds are not equal. The 1.22ct is cut too deep and angles aren’t complimentary. I imagine it scores well over 2 on the HCA. The overall cut if the smaller one is better and I’d guess it gets a passing HCA score.

Spot on. 1.22 3.4 on hca, 1.7 for the 1.03

Could find similar cut quality of 1.03 in 1.20 if I went down to I colour but worried about tint
