Well, one way to avoid the striped skunk is to have no part aka all pulled back pony tail or bun, just not too tightly?

Gorgeous. Your hair is beautiful.
You have beautiful hair! My natural color was the same, but unfortunately didn't stay that way for even half as long.
My husband's aunt did not have any gray until late her late 60s and then only at the temples. One day I told her how lucky she was to have such beautiful hair that's never been dyed, unlike mine. She was perplexed - "You dye your hair? Why? What's your natural color?" She couldn't believe someone as young as me (I was in my 30s at the time) had gray hair!
Gray is not the "new blond".
When we get old, we look old.
Then, we die.
It is natural.
I think those who died young would give anything to have our gray hair, and our years.
As for blondes - naturally light blonde hair rarely exists past the age of puberty.
And the two women I have known who remained naturally light blonde as they aged both had very pale skin, light blue eyes and straight thin hair. They both went gray so naturally and gradually it was difficult to tell if their hair was still completely blonde or not.
I will be 63 soon and have never colored or highlighted my hair. Have a few grays now. Don't know if I will ever dye my hair.
I doubt many of us would color our hair if it looked as good as yours does at 63! And I have to admit that I am a bit jealous, ok maybe a lot jealous, of your eyebrows! Clearly you did not overpluck like I did for way too many years.![]()
