My Dad was a jeweler and had a (big) business. We had numerous loupes at home. My Mom let the cat out of the bag...aka I "knew" the proposal was coming when she said to me (prior to going out for dinner) "are you wearing thaaatt"

Heck no. It's parody. He's an Iraqi American comedian. I'm of Middle Eastern ancestry and I think it's funny!
We are making fun of food here. He also has a song about tabooli, and one about hummus, and many more.

I get the parody and I love stuff that pokes fun at every group, mine included.

Here in LA there is/was a radio station called KROQ, that had/has two announcers, Kevin and Bean.
They poke at every group and state, "We're all funny, every one of us."

My question was rhetorical ... and I agree it's funny.

For a youtuber trying to make money from views it's also good business.
I'll bet that towel-head decision got him a zillion additional views.

This guy is great! He even gets his Mom to belly dance in some videos. The Baklava song is hysterical. My personal favorite is the song about stuffed Grape Leaves.
His YouTube channel is called "goremy" (his first name is Remy) he's got lots of videos, all funny, most of it is politically incorrect.
