Art Nouveau- thank you. I agree that the workmanship of daniel k pieces are superb. it's one of the reason's I wanted an orignal. it's my understanding that pearlmans got inventory from a jewelry going out of business. since they no longer carry DK I guess they figured closeout was the only place to put it, although you are correct that all the styles are still current. I'm just very grateful b/c it's the only way we could have justified or afforded an authentic daniel K piece. they've got a few more pieces, including the empress earrings that i'd love to own too.

HaloAngel: I don''t have the paperwork yet with the setting details but I did try to measure myself. the band is 2.5mm and the halo is approx. 1.5mm, no bigger than 2mm. Hope that helps.

thank you glitterbug. it does provide a nice amount of coverage. I''m still a little worried that it might be over the top but my sister saw it today for the first time in person and thought is was perfect. she didn''t think it was too big and she''d be the one person who would be totally honest and tell me if it really was too big for me.

the stone is 1.16
