I wouldn't choose either. #1 has too low a CA and a over deep PA. #2 has an inclusion I'd have issues with.

I also liked this one from @ac117
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-de...ATIONS&track=viewDiamondDetails&action=newTab (1.41 I VS1, 7.11 mm; $8869)

or, if you want to buy from JA, I slightly prefer this one as the table is 57% and it is slightly smaller. Otherwise, very similar to ac117's suggestion.

At this point, I also feel that dropping the size requirement and focusing on a beautiful ideal cut stone, is a better idea, and to select one soon. If she wears a lot of silver, I suggest staying with a white metal (white gold or platinum).
As far as being naturey and lower set,
I would just get the diamond, and go with these people, since you KNOW she likes it!
https://shop.kenanddanadesign.com/c...que-engagement-rings-nature-inspired-laurel-1 (42350 for 14K gold, 1995 for platinum).

However these are other styles that seem they would work, especially if you are in a time jam and they are not custom. At a later point, David Klass may be able to engrave them for you.
https://www.jamesallen.com/engageme...wisted-shank-contemporary-solitaire-item-6854 (white gold twisted shank 420 or 705 platinum - design is VERY similar to the one she picked out)
https://www.jamesallen.com/engageme...-white-gold-bypass-engagement-ring-item-22555 (bypass, reminds me of the twig ring 472)
https://www.jamesallen.com/engageme...modern-leaf-bypass-engagement-ring-item-50128 (asymmetrical, low set, has diamonds as "leaves" 825
http://www.maevona.com/ring-detail.html?rid=671 (rock rose, 650 (see if this could have engraving?)
http://www.maevona.com/ring-detail.html?rid=1519 (soay solitare 1K)
http://www.maevona.com/ring-detail.html?rid=2884 (fern classic, 1530)

The LAD ring is really nice, but would be custom.

I STLL like this stone. It may be discounted because it's tint looks more brown than yellow. But that doesn't bother me.

I don't like the James Allen one you posted because of the clarity issues so if I had to choose I would choose the enchanted diamond. It should perform beautifully.

I agree with you on the setting. You're right, she likes it. I was just trying to think outside the box but they are a great option.

And for the diamond turns out that enchanted diamond is not eye clean.

So you're not concerned at all about the brownish tint on the smaller diamond? You think it will still have the brilliant sparkle and won't be noticeable on the color? I've been looking at everyone's rings I work with and no one seems to even know what they have when I ask lol. Just the size .

Haha :appl: you happen to live in Chicago? Drinks on me!! I know I've said it several times but I say it again. Thank all of you soo much!!. I'm going to have to pass it on when this is over

Happy to help, but celebrate AFTER you have it on hold. Tell me you have it on hold or heck, on your timeline and those numbers, buy it. Then, ask for an ASET/IS. I don't *think* fourmine will provide images, but it looks really good. So, you may need to buy it and have a little faith... I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Click on the GIA word at the bottom. That website hates me. I have to click like 4 times to get stuff to work.

Their live chat was unavailable so I emailed them with the sku asking to put it on hold and I'll post any additional info I get on it.

Fingers definitely crossed. Waiting to hear back lead time on the setting too:dance:

Email for good measure. Give the link and GIA number in your email. Tell them PS members sent you over them them.

[email protected]

I know I can check my email way easier than voicemail when I'm "not working":cool2:

And...if you need a stand-in setting, they wonderful.

I sent them an email but I couldn't get the GIA number. I sent the link. I clicked on the GIA link several times and couldn't get it to open.

GIA is 2195125716. You have to click on the tiny little words "GIA" in the chart toward the bottom of the page.

If you are happy with its...I would just buy from 4-Mine. That might cause some kind of automated thing to happen to hold this stone.

Okay I checked out using the bank wire option so I think it's on hold. It sent a link for me to complete the order with a receipt. I just hold off paying until I hear back from them.

Exciting stuff!

Doesn't show sold on the link, time will tell :wall:
4-mine's website seems to be pretty buggy on search pages. As long as you have a receipt, you've done all you can do. Sending luck and patience your way =)2

Well they have been responding, although they refuse to put a hold on the diamond until payment is made. I offered a credit card through email but I'm not blindly sending a wire transfer. The return policy is 30 days full money back guarantee but I've never done business with them so I'm not risking that, too much money.

I'll keep you updated on the images if they come through.

Ok. But, if they won't put a hold, then try to see if IDJ can. Did they call/email you back? IDJ is open 10-5:30 EST. If IDJ can get it for you, they will :) IDJ can usually shoot images, though it depends on where it is located.

You are way ahead of me :) Just hang in there. If it helps, 4-mine is a legit company. They've been around for a while and several posters have purchased from them. This really is a stupendous stone if the images work out. I'm pretty risk adverse with money, but I would not hesitate to send a wire to FourMine. But, you have to make the call.

I got ahold of IDJ and spoke with Yekutiel. Great person to speak with on the phone. He pulled the report and it has a brownish tint on the report comments, see attached. He recommended against this as it will be noticeable. However, he has a comparable diamond without the tint he is going to send me everything on tomorrow and will post. FM.JPG
