Beautiful ring, Dreamer!!! It goes perfectly with the band. Congrats!!!![]()
I *think* so. What I really need is a "fun ring" fakey to wear around the house and figure out if it is really really the look I am after. Every time I go to the store and try a three stone on I adore it, but then when I come home and don''t have it in front of me I start wondering again if it is really what I want to do!Date: 12/30/2009 2:45:09 PM

How''s your 3-stone project going? Do you still want to add sidestones to this beauty?
haha... when I think about the cost of losing this speck it seems super silly. I do not want to spend any more money on my diamond, that is my new years resolution. So the only way to change is a different G SI2 that is cleaner looking. But I don''t know if that is even possible or whether I want to go through the risk of having a different diamond that I don''t like as much. I really like this diamond.Date: 12/30/2009 2:59:52 PM

YEY! Congrats on the upgrade!! I have a G colour too and love it. I don''t think I could go down in colour on my finger ...but my ears are another story. Those I can live with a bit of colour. As for the inclusion, I say Shrug it off for now, and just enjoy that bright white goodness. When the time comes for your next ''move'', whatever that may be, you can recify this inclusion issue. As you said, one step at a time

I''m still looking for the ''forever'' setting for my ''Romy Ring'' (push present) and cannot for the life of me decide. Sheesh. It''s overwhelming. I can relate.....
I think the size does matter a lot. Smaller diamond means more tightly packed facets I think, means easierto hide little beasties.Date: 12/30/2009 3:05:20 PM

Congratulations on your ICY WHITE DIAMOND, Dreamer! I''m curious to see how the Inclusion Issue will be sorted out. I, too, learned a thing or two about the Color Issue from owning a K.Love it in a pendant, but as I prefer e-ring settings with open sides I realize that I wouldn''t go that warm. Sad. My K is an SI2 too but I can''t see the inclusions - probably because at .47ct it''s too small.
As for that play ring? Nordstrom''s.
What are you implying fly girl?Date: 12/30/2009 4:03:47 PM

So glad you went for the G, dreamer!Such are pretty stone and a great looking wedding set. It sounds like you are quite satisfied with the color and the price point. My guess is that for $2k you will be able to forget about that itty bitty speck. But, do come back around March, or so, and give us an update.![]()

I like thinking of it that way. I am very budget minded and that makes it feel like a good deal, and I like a good deal.Date: 12/30/2009 4:17:13 PM

DD it really is gorgeous. It will be interesting to see how you feel about the ''$2000'' pin prickin a few months. Can''t wait to see how it ends up (and if it goes in a three stone

If anyone is curious, this is the inclusion that I can see if I hold the diamond about 6 inches from my face, squint one eye closed, and look at it in such a way that the inclusions sits over a white-light returning facet. It looks large in this photo, but what it looks like in person is a little dot or spec about the size of a pin prick.
I am still not *totally* certain about whether this is something I can live withMy husband adamantly wants to keep this diamond, he simply adores the size and color, and to keep those factors but lose the pic prick that I can only see when I hunt it down at 6 inches would cost us almost 2k more
which when I write it like that certainly seems stoopid. But diamonds are not logical![]()
