Going through idjewelry looking for feedback

I'm currently working with Yekutiel and Shulamit from Id Jewelry and so far I'm having a good experience. Very professional and helpful people. Here is the setting I'm working with https://www.tqdiamonds.com/shop-online/gabriel/gabriel-14-karat-contemporary-engagement-ring-er7729w44jj.html
They ballpark quoted me around 1200 and believe they can do the rose gold gallery customization as well.

This is the diamond we are working with quoted at 4k via wire xfer. (undercutting bluenile) Gia report on the site they've sent me a few pics and video and I'll be linking the pictures.
Overall the current ballpark is around 5.2k for the ring (customization may need some more money) but I wanted to hear a pricescope feedback on diamond selection and price. I think it sounds reasonable but I'm worried about the inclusions that are in the middle of the stone. Otherwise the diamond looks really fiery and brilliant.

Unfortunately I can't see the diamond info as BN has taken it down. The images look good other than I am curious about the clarity and what those inclusions are under the table.

Did you clear this new setting with your gf? Because I don't think it is close enough to the Verragio to risk getting it unless she has approved it.

Weird I can pull it right up from their site. I have not cleared it with her. That maybe a good idea but this was one of the settings she pointed out but I can't say definitively she would prefer it.

yes. they say you can see them if you look really hard for it but just in looking at it no. they offered to send it to me first to be sure

I bought a few things from IDJ and have never been disappointed in their descriptions. It's a nice option on their part to let you see the stone before setting it.

I would just be certain that if you give her the ring and she is not 100% happy with the diamond, that they will allow you to upgrade it to better color or clarity. The cut looks nice, though.

I do like a lot of Gabriel and Co settings, but I would just want to be sure she really loved it before choosing that one. Sorry to be so cautious but it is a big decision and I know you want her to love it! I do think IDJ does a great job working within people's budgets!

I can tell you from experience working with Yekutiel and his family at IDJ that I have complete confidence when it comes to picking out diamonds within budget. Its what IDJ does best. They are amazing folks to work with, always doing the right thing for the customer.
I have purchased both my diamonds from Yekutiel and both times he beat the price of other vendors who had listed the same diamond.
My last purchase from IDJ was my GIA 1.70 J VS1 Round Brilliant Triple X diamond that his sister Shuli picked out for me. The diamond is Gorgeous better looking than in pictures and this baby sparkles everywhere even in dark lighting.
Here are some pics of my round brilliant diamond ring to give you an idea. I hope it calms your nerves and makes you feel a little better seeing pictures of their diamonds they picked for members of this forum.

They also have a great trade up policy so if she wants to change the diamond in the future for a larger diamond or different color, she can. Just make sure you talk to Yekutiel about this.

Sorry to threadjack, but Madison 2, did idj do your beautiful double halo setting too? Lovely and looks like excellent craftsmanship on a not so easy design. Love it!

I think the white inclusions would be not easily seen. In the enlarged pics it's visible, but not so much in real life. Good choice and good overall price. Looks like it would be much more!

thank you guys! this has been great posting to this site. Great feedback and I'm definitely feeling confident in Id jewelry. Your ring is amazing Madison. I will inquire about trade up policy that is something I had not considered.

So I sat down with the girlfriend and explained what I had been considering. She is all about it! All systems go, dumping the Verragio setting idea all together and going all in on customizing an awesome Gabriel setting for her through Idjewelry.

I'm considering doing Rose Gold on the Halo and on the Gallery. Here is a terrible photoshop mock up of the rose gold gallery. I haven't tried to photoshop the halo rose gold so you have to use your imagination on that one lol. I think it will give it some character.
