So I have been involved in the long (but fun) process of bringing my dream engagement ring to life. I have the setting being made, the stone picked out and I thought everything was fine...
Until I saw a 2.25ct pear shaped padparadscha sapphire at an estate sale. It was love at first sight. The colors absolutely GLOW like a sunset. I could picture it in a rose gold halo setting. Now I''m seriously thinking I''m crazy to be wanting to reconsider this whole process. It took me 2 years to visualize what I wanted and now it''s gone right out the window.
I feel like I''m cheating on my ring
and unfortunately my budget is not going to allow for 2 projects. I am an asscher lover and I never even considered a pear until now. Should I go with my original plans, or follow my new idea?
