I have a D color stone, in this thread. See any yellow spots there? Of course not. And you're looking at some pictures with high magnification through a loupe, not just by eye. (BTW, there should be no "spots" of color anywhere on any white diamond, unless you're talking about a colored stone with uneven color dispersion...)
Return this ring ASAP, and make sure it is INSURED for return so they can't claim that THIS ring too, was stolen or lost during shipping. And then RUN like hell from this seller. They are seriously trying to screw you over.
Hi RobertM! Since other posters have told you to run from the Shenoa outfit (I agree) I won''t tell you that again. But I do want to say that the ring from DBL is exquisite!! I''d take that over the marquise anyday.
I am new at PS at posting, but I have been around the block a FEW times.... Even with Shenoa, and let me be the 1st to say, I have found GREAT semi mount deals with these people to set sims and gems in etc, BUT, when it comes to large diamonds, for center stones, every single story including one involving me and yours now, says RRRRRUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN like there is NO tomorrow.
For $12k you could go to a local jmart and get a BANGIN deal, let alone whatever the vendors here can hook you up with...egads "Bait and Switch" with a megaphone I say!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous ring, and as many of you know, David is great to work with. The true test will be a week from tonight, on the beach at sunset outside of Destin FL, when I show up as a surprise to propose to my girlfriend. She will be there on vacation with family, and has been begging me to come...I''ve been making excuses that I can''t get away from work. Little will she know when I call her that night and ask her to stroll down to the beach so I can hear the waves on her cell phone, that I''ll be all setup with beach blanket, wine, candles, music, and David''s ring. Thanks to all of you here that helped me sort out the original situation with Shenoa....this forum is a wonderful service...even if I did earn a few "rodent faces" along the way. - Robert
Thank god you got your money back. The ring you got from David is gorgeous. He is a great vendor. Good luck with your proposal and come back and post lots of hand pics of this beauty!!!!
Edit*** Phew! I responded before I got to the end of the thread. Youre story enraged me!
I'm relieved that you listened to the sage advice offered by my fellow PScopers!
Congratulations, and Goodluck!
He got this money back, thank God. He then went and bought a threee stone emerald from DBL. He posted the link to the ebay auction and it looks pretty spiffy to me.
your story will be inpiration to others. I''m so glad things worked out so well for you and you ended up with a GORGEOUS ring from DBL. and you proposal sounds sooooo romantic. she is going to be in shock. Enjoy next week and Destin, the beaches are so beautiful and white, my daugher actually thought it was snow the first time we took here there. Please come back and post pics once you''ve proposed.
