I am looking for the perfect center stone and recently found this GIA (#2156026246) in local store. I would love to get your opinion primarily on the clarity characteristic plot and large cloud outline that is shown (image linked below).

Stone is a 1.0 Carat GIA, Ex, Ex, Ex, F, Si1, no Fluor with following measurements (6.40-6.44 x 3.86). The table is 59, depth 60.5, crown 34*, pav 40.6*. My budget is right around 7k for stone and I was hoping to find something slightly over 1 carat and since this is only 6.40 I thought it may be too small. It scores 1.1 on HCA, with Ex, Ex, Ex, VG (spread).

It looks great in the store lighting but the large cloud outline in the diagram concerned me? Is that just outlining the other smaller crystals or is that saying there is a large cloud? I viewed under 10x lope and it seemed good but I am not experienced with doing that.

It's saying there is a large cloud in the table, however, that doesn't mean it is dense. At an SI1, it's might be safe to say it won't bother you. You said you looked at it in store, was the cloud deep or shallow? Could you see it eye visibly?

Thanks for looking. I am not 100% sure as I have only viewed a few stones via loop. there did seem to be a small circle area that almost looked like a shadow but the jeweler said that wasnt the cloud I was seeing and that this cloud is barly visible on 20X scope. Also I could have sworn I saw the same thing on another stone at same store that didnt have cloud plotted.

What exactly would the cloud look like via a loop?

A cloud is tiny pinpoints clustered near to each other. The effect you would be trying to avoid is that the cloud could make a
stone look opaque or dull because light could not reflect in and out of the diamond - that would be a cloud at it's worst though.
