In the long run this is much ado about nothing.

Religions have been kicking and screaming resisting adjusting to the developing world since ... well, since there have been humans.

I hear they really really didn't like the new idea that the earth revolved around the sun, instead of vice versa.
They even argued against ending slavery and allowing interracial marriages.

In time they have no choice but to just hush up and carry on.

What astonishes me is people like this couple (and Fred Phelps of the GOD HATES FAGS campaign) don't see how they are actually helping the cause they are fighting against.

Thanks for the link! It provided the answer to my above question about what exactly is necessary for a divorce in Australia (I couldn't find it in 3 clicks like the author could). As I thought, this couple wouldn't quality. Numpties.
