(Future) Whitby Jet protects (x2)

I wish you lived nearer @Daisys and Diamonds, I have so many lovely beads. It’d be great to get together, as I’ve lost my mojo, I haven’t made anything for several years now.

putting this on the back burner again
i think im set on turquoise spacer beads, small ones
but bright blue ones that pop between the jet
i think they will cost more than the jet necklace

Tourquise spacer beads were in my letterbox this morning
I should get enough nice colored ones
It's not going to be long enough so might use some of the others ir my Navajo jet round beads at the ends

I just had this horrible thought
The Whitby jet fascated beads have very large holes ....

I am an idiot
But they are very pretty and I shan't waste them 20250722_082007.jpg

These are the nicest turq beads I've seen you buy! I really like them!! They appear to be natural and solid. They are likely stabilized (which is perfectly acceptable), but I doubt dyed (because they'd be much more uniform in color). I would totally bead with these.

well all the rest has been a bit cra**Y :boohoo:
but your endorsment is very welcome
and it proves you get what you pay for (but the NZ dollar is low and shipping costs are high so i have no shame in looking for the odd bargain -that i fail to find)

thank you=)2
@stracci2000 gave them the once over maybe a couple of months ago and said they looked ok
its just a poo that they will dissapair into the hole in the jet beads because its a really great contrast
i might use them in a white pearl strand
