For Yellow Gold and Colored Gemstone Lovers....

Here are a couple more recent pieces, for those of you who are fond of yellow gold.

The ring is by a Canadian designer, Tony Cavelti. It's 18K YG, set with two small bezel-set diamonds with a buff-top peridot centre. I love this ring because the centre peridot reminds me of my cat's green eyes (the big orange cat shown in my avatar!). The cuff bracelet is also 18K YG. I purchased them together to wear as a set, because I liked the look of the two pieces combined. Pictures to follow...

Hmm...pictures like these make me miss YG...

I also love bufftop gemstones. I first saw some zillions of years ago in St Thomas, and was intrigued: Cabochon on top, but added sparkle from the faceted bottoms. I wonder why we don''t see more of them?

Cool, togal. That white gold diamond cuff on first few pages caught my eye; as I have "cuffs" on the brain...............
