Finally! My fluorescent Pear is set!

Woohoo!

Stats are: 1.01ct, I colour, SI2, GIA cert, strong blue fluor. I am absolutely stunned at how white the pear looks. The only time is seems to show a warmer tone is in very dim lighting conditions (i.e. indoors on a dull day with no lights) and even then it's hardly detectable. Whoops forgot to say the ring is platinum and the accent diamonds are F-G and VS.

Please excuse (in advance) the excessive number of photos I'm just about to post! Unfortunately it's not sunny enough today - well I am in the UK after all! - to post pictures of the fluor but I'll save that until summer!

ckrickett - the setting was made by a jeweller in the UK called diamondgeezer.com Their website is limited but they do CADs and bespoke designs. This is one that I drew, they interpreted via CAD but then we also went down the bespoke road as well!!!

Here''s one of the bottom - you can''t see the legs holding the diamond when the ring is on and if I had to change one thing, it would be to make them slightly more raised so you could see them in the profile but I''m not going to change it now!
