Feedback on 1.13 J/VS2 EX cut

Looking for any feedback on the linked. I had been chasing down a different stone but it turned out to not exist after I asked about it. But I have been working some with deBebians and they suggested this one.

It looks good by all the measures I can find. The last one I looked at had fluorescence and that seemed like fun but everything I have read indicated that does not have lot of impact on the stone

So question for you and the other experts out there I see a lot of diamonds online, and most have certs so thats good. But I would say a much smaller subset have images/idealscope/etc. Obviously you can find stones with an image but you end up weeding out a huge number of stones.

So is that a choice I just need to make? Take the risk blind on the cert, or find a stone that has images taken? Or is there some middle ground?

Agreed 100%. Odd angles, and it is a 60/60 stone https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/60-60-proportioned-diamond - not that it's a bad thing, but it will have a different flavor than most ideal cuts.

It scores well on the HCA (1.2 - you want a number under 2) despite it's angles - they are a little "off" but they work together. The HCA gives it excellent light return, excellent fire, very good scintillation, and excellent spread.

That said I would never buy a round (even this one) without an idealscope image. You might - it just depends on what your objective is.

Okay so I feel like a blind man walking around guessing at stones sometimes. So went looking at stones where I could get the scope pic and found this. Seems to be a very similar stone. Have a higher HCA score but the idealscope looks good to my very untrained eye.
price is comparable to the other.
