Fancy Yellow Diamond help

Hello everyone! I usually spend time over on the colored gems side of PS but I am looking to purchase my first diamond, a fancy yellow. I will be honest I have no experience with diamonds let alone fancy colored ones but I have learned a lot about gemstones in general over the last year that I've been purchasing colored gems. I love color so I think a fancy intense or fancy vivid yellow would be right up my alley. I have limited funds for now so the diamonds I am considering are quite small. Eventually I will set the diamond in an occasional wear ring and since it will be small I might halo it. Really not sure on setting ideas yet, just want to get a diamond first! I do know that I love emerald cuts first and asschers second and I do not care for the crushed ice look. I am kind of afraid to post these links for fear of lurkers but here it goes! So the first and last options are more of a pure yellow while the others are more neon, I like the symmetry of the .34 having 3.75x3.75 and comparing to the other asshers will face up just as large as the .38 and it doesn’t appear to have any dead areas when facing straight up.

Now the DBL emerald is gorgeous and has the largest face up presence but it’s an emerald and the others are asschers. I think it boils down to what color you want, do you want vivid or intense? If you want more sunny yellow then go with the DBL emerald option, if you want more pop of color then I like the .34

I would love to see the emerald cut set horizontal in a high carat ring. If not the emerald cut then the 0,34ct asscher. would be my choice. Would these be set on a pendant, bracelet or a ring?
 
Thank you for the replies everyone! I am leaning towards the emerald cut, which is a wee bit more $ than I wanted to spend but it looks soooooo beautiful and my favorite shape! The very close second is the .34ct asscher! It looks so bright and I really like it as well..... Whichever one I get will eventually be set in a ring with a high karat gold. That is all I have for ring ideas right now. It probably won't get set for awhile as I have other gems I want to get set prior. I emailed Gemconcepts and haven't heard back yet. I know these are small diamonds but they are inline money wise with what I am comfortable spending on gemstones in life right now. Thanks again for the help!

Ha I'm an idiot and thought that pic showed all of them. Totally missed the dbl stone. Great choice!!!

I’m pretty sure the DBL is the one! :kiss2: Can’t stop thinking about it. David made a quick video and it sparkles like made! So yellow & yummy!

That is good to hear as I don’t know much about colored diamonds! But I’m telling you I can’t stop thinking about it!
 
I think you should get it. And soon - you don't know who else might be eyeing it. I was looking at it, along with a little vivid yellow marquise, but in the end I bought a fancy intense green yellow with strong green fluorescence. If you really want it, do it.

Lol, I don't have any pictures on my computer here at work, but I have the vendor picture on my home computer. I'll try to put it up tomorrow (I'm not the most technologically adept person). I don't have any of the fluorescence yet, but in the sun it looks like a lime popsicle. It's cut deep and doesn't have as much light return as I'd like, but that color in the sun is more than worth it. I'll try to capture it. Try. :)
 
Did you get it yet, or is DBL setting it? We need pictures. :) I do so love that diamond.

I really don’t know how I will set it. I know she will go into a ring. That’s all I have for now! I have a few other colored gems I want to set first. At some point inspiration will hit & I will know how she will be set.
 
I like the 2nd & 3rd from the bottom best.
