Hi Everyone!

I posted this in another forum on here, but I think this is the right one now....let''s see. :)

I learned all about Signed Pieces and the Facets Duo from lurking on this board, so I''m convinced! I wanted some opinions from all of you about how this setting will look compared to another.

The diamond that we got is around one ct - it''s .90ct F color, VS1, Excellent Cut. I want the stone to really stand out, but I''m also afraid that the band will be too thin on my finger? My ring size is 6.5

Okay, so the first option (the one that I''m leaning towards) is the Facets Duo THE FACETS DUO Diamond Ring Mounting Set, Platinum 53 Round Brilliant Diamonds, 1.90ct. tw. F-G color VVS-VS clarity

The e-ring band is 2.5mm wide and 1.9mm thick and the wedding band is 2.5mm wide and 1.9mm thick. I tried on a 2.5mm band at a local store but it''s hard to gauge exactly how it would look with the double bands and with the stone mounted. What do you all think of that? Too thin, just right?

The second option is: THE FACETS DUO Diamond Ring Mounting Set, Platinum 13 Round Cut Diamonds, 1.31ct. tw. F-G color VVS-VS clarity

This e-ring band is 3mm wide and 2.2mm thick and the same applies to the wedding band. So total this band would be 6mm wide...and the stone is a .90ct which I think is around 6.4mm?

I want the stone to really stand out...but I don''t want the ring to look too small or thin on my hand.

What does everyone think would look best? I would really love all of your opinions! Thanks so much!! :)

here is the picture of the first option:

and here is the picture of the second :)

Oh, and here are a few more angles for the second choice:

second option (different angle) again:

and just for good measure...a different angle picture of the first option!

Both sets are lovely, but I vote for option #1, because i love the full eternity band - i think it will look great with your stone! I think the full eternity is so pretty for when you want to wear it alone too.

Thanks! :)

I am leaning more towards option #1, as well. Although, they are going to custom make the ring for me to be 75% around...as I''d like to be able to resize the ring if I need to in the future. Do you think that would still look good?

I prefer sentimental rings that are not eternity bands b/c while I love the look they just aren''t that practical.

I didn''t want to add my two cents because I know from personal experience, how disappointing it can be when you invest in an eternity band, and then your finger size changes slightly, but now that you said they''re going to make your ring a 3/4 eternity?
I''m for that choice. Big juicy diamonds and 3/4 around. Signed Pieces has done such beautiful work for some of our ladies. You''ll be happy.

I think 3/4 around would be fine, and then would allow for sizing too - however, if you are going 3/4 rather than full eternity, maybe the larger diamonds in option #2 would be even more comfortable to wear (between your fingers) and they could be bigger too!

either way, whole, 3/4, or 1/2 eternity band will all be absolutely lovely for your ring!
