I''ve spent most of the morning trying to photograph the ring with limited success. Please bare with these photos.

Oh, Rita, that''s just beautiful! Does your camera have a macro setting (the little flower)? That will make the close-ups heaps easier if it does. Otherwise maybe try setting the camera on the table to steady it and take your photos like that? I have to do that sometimes, especially when the lighting is low. Can''t wait to see more pics!!!
