I went for a walk at lunch and when I came back... this big box was on my desk along w a salivating cluster of hormonal women, all with (PITCH! ) forks in hand... ready to dig in when they saw "The Cake Shop" on the lid of the box!!!

um... sorry ladies, I had to bring this home to share with DH and the family... but I *will* bring it back to share tomorrow! I just figured that DH also kind of earned his piece of cake, too, so wanted him to see the gorgeous cake intact!!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH DEB!!! I am so thrilled that you went to all the trouble of finding a Canadian bakery, in my city, and graced me with such a delicious celebratory award!!!!! Thank you!!!

Here it is --- Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing!! YUMMY YUMMY YUM YUM -I have a bajillion calories in my TUM!!

Thank you so much for posting those beautiful photos, Enerchi! When the first bakery in Toronto with those really wonderful fruity cheese cakes didn't work out, I was hoping that this little place would pull it off. You deserved a really nice cake. I kept telling them I wanted to, "make a statement".
