I saw that one today. It is gorgeous! I was kind of on the fence about the EC but I am kind of loving the classic look. Just have to keep them clean!

Ok! My ring is finally ready. However, the middle stone does not appear to be colorless. Here is the video and pictures.

Can you upload the video too? I have to say that the emerald is very hard to photograph and mine doesn’t look as white in pictures as it does in person. I did go with the near colorless and I don’t see any yellow. I know there are other’s that have even had a tinge of green in their stone. Can you ask her (Ella?) if the stone appears white in person? All the windows give such a different reflection and will actually show colors from the phone case too.

The proportions actually look really nice. I don’t think the side stones are going to be too big at all. It is ‘blingy’ but also very elegant. Let’s hope they respond to you today before they ship.....

If I remember right, I read that fancy cuts show more warmth than say, a round. This might be their colorless, it’s just not blinding white like we’re used to. I think it’s beautiful! I actually prefer a bit warmer stone for “believability” personally, even in a round.

I was just trying out so more artistic photo’s in the house and mine shows up kind of yellow in pictures too but it is still very white. I got mine from SG so I don’t know if that’s make a difference. Your’s should be even whiter since it is colorless. I think the only thing you can do in this situation is to ask them to take a picture outside in natural daylight or at least by a window before they mail it so you can tell if you need to switch out the stone....

Beautiful ring and pictures. I see what you mean. I do wish I had gone with more tapered traps like yours. I should have listened to my rep at Tianyu. But I’m stubborn and didn’t. Either way, the ring is coming and I will only know for sure how white or warm the stone is then and whether I made a good decision to keep the traps wider.......oh the suspense!

Thank you....I am just playing around with a new iphone so major photo bomb (probably too many!) It is very hard to take pictures of moissanites because of all the double refraction and the EC has all those windows.

I have actually seen a lot of rings with the bigger side stones like that. I think it looks much bigger in the pictures then IRL. If I remember you have a smaller finger size but I actually think you will be ok. Someone over on WB got a colorless EC from Tianyu and she says it matches her G/H side stones from her Julia B ring. I am not sure if that means it shows yellow or not. Her outdoor pic’s still looked pretty white.

Haha....I too crack my knuckles. This may be the reason too. I’m also 40 pounds heavier. My ring size used to be US 6.25.

I do see some color but it's more like flashes of color and not an overall wash of color. Maybe it's a reflection of it's surroundings.

Your rings looks gorgeous and VERY expensive. Vintage and modern at the same time. I hope you're thrilled. I know I would be to have that lovely on my finger. Enjoy your rings! They came just in time for Christmas.

I think that exactly describes it. I got all 3 stones from Starsgem for $360 and I know that would have been over $2000 just for the loose moissanites 11x9 and the sides. The platinum ring including the miligrain and hand engraving was $1000 and the band was $500 so the price overall was not that bad. It helped that I got a family discount of course, but I am very pleased with the final result.

I saw your ring on one of the Tianyu's IG pages. It's so beautiful! The side stones are perfectly placed and the claw prongs are a nice touch.

What do you think of the side stone ratio to your center stone? I don’t think they look too big at all and that is a nice blngy set with your 1/2 eternity ring. Definitely looks whiter than Tianyu’s initial pictures. I really hope you are pleased with the final outcome. A great gift in time for Christmas!
