The hens are so incredibly cute and the house is a charmer. Be patient and let nature take its course. Watching the water in the pot doesn''t make it boil any sooner.

Tell me about it. I can see where they are coming from - I can''t eggactly say I relish the thought of squeezing an egg out of my nethers each day so I suppose I shouldn''t blame them for putting it off.

Steel, the girls STILL HAVEN''T laid yet?!? What a lazy bunch!
We didn''t end up getting chickens for my mom because she bought a bunch of chickens already. I told my dad we wanted to get more and he absolutely put his foot down. He says they poop all over his workshop so he doesn''t like them.

Those girls are lazy! What else do they need? They have tons of people cheering them on and they can''t produce one teeny, tiny egg for you????

Actually.............they did mention something about the lighting being insufficient for their ultimate egg laying potential. I believe they emailed a copy of this as a hint

So what do you think about my eggless girls? I don''t now how old they are - I suppose I should have asked. The breeder said they would need 16 hrs of daylight and about 7-10 days before they produce. What do you think?
