#TBT Edwardian Toi et Moi engagement ring

Hello everyone!! I’m excited to share a proper post of my Edwardian engagement ring! My partner of 10 years proposed on Christmas Day with this beauty... I’m an antique and vintage jewelry collector, and it couldn’t be more perfect for me

I had the ring appraised this week, and it’s confirmed to be a true Edwardian period piece, c1910, entirely handmade in platinum. The 2 centre stones are old European cuts, and the 32 accent stones are a combination of old mine and European cuts.

As many of you know, it can be difficult to capture both central stones in a toi et moi ring - I did my best:



The gallery and band are as intricate as the face... I am in love with the carved band (and thankful it fits like a glove- no resizing required!!)

Thank you!! He made the final choice - I wanted him to choose. He’s had the benefit of 10 years of exposure to my jewelry collecting ‘hobby’ & curated list of loves ... definitely easier than most men have it!!

Sorry for my late arrival to comment on your gorgeous ring, it's just absolutely stunning!!

I couldn't find it written down anywhere about your finger size? I'm trying to decide on how to set my M-N coloured round brilliants that are just under a carat each. I'm desperately trying to decide on a setting as I want it to have great finger presence /coverage as it'll be my new forever ring.
If you would be so kind as to answer a couple of questions I'd be really grateful: Is it a comfortable ring to wear everyday? Are you planning on wearing a band or just as is?

This is my favourite inspiration piece at the moment (I've changed my mind a couple of times, but can't get passed the Edwardian style)


I'm thinking of possibly doing the bow in rubies.
