by SmileyJ3ms » Jan 5, 2019 Hello everyone!! I’m excited to share a proper post of my Edwardian engagement ring! My partner of 10 years proposed on Christmas Day with this beauty... I’m an antique and vintage jewelry collector, and it couldn’t be more perfect for me I had the ring appraised this week, and it’s confirmed to be a true Edwardian period piece, c1910, entirely handmade in platinum. The 2 centre stones are old European cuts, and the 32 accent stones are a combination of old mine and European cuts. As many of you know, it can be difficult to capture both central stones in a toi et moi ring - I did my best: The gallery and band are as intricate as the face... I am in love with the carved band (and thankful it fits like a glove- no resizing required!!) And for those who appreciate a good view from behind: Happy weekend, everyone!!
