Congrats Harriet! Wear them in good health and in great happiness.

Thank you, Gypsy! Which reminds me -- I haven''t see yours.

It''s a good thing you are ditching the bolero. Other than that, they both look good.

Yay! Chrono approves. Shall I ditch them and buy gems instead?

Harriet, I *like* the first dress, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the second one!!! Seriously, I wouldn''t think it would be out of place at all to wear that to City Hall (just my opinion... )

Uh oh. Do I sense a tepid response to the first one?

Me likey!

Beautiful dresses, Harriet!

Which one? I have three

. LOL. I''m only wearing one of them though.

All!

They''re both beautiful, Harriet! The second one is particularly spectacular!
You will look stunning!

You want honest, so I will be honest. The first one is not me, at all. But that doesn''t really matter, I''m not wearing it.

However, I love, love, LOVE the second one. *SWOON*

Ditto!

I LOVE the second one - it''s drop dead gorgeous.

I''m not that keen on the first one - it''s a bit too busy for my taste.

But it may just be that I don''t like it on that model. I think it''s the kind of dress that could look incredible on the right person - especially without the bolero and without the black-trim. So it''s difficult to really give an opinion without seeing it on you.

Both are great. One is very fun.
Two is very sexy. Two looks like it will feel really comfortable.

what will you wear with one? no jacket at all?

I think it''s hard to get a good idea of what the first one really looks like because the model is so slouchy and making a strange face. But it looks cute, and I''d love to see it on a "real" person and with lighter-colored trim. I think that would make a lot of difference! And I agree that the second one is fantastic!

I think a couple of the gals are right on the first one. With different trim, on a different person, it would definitely look different, for the better.

I ordered another Christos before this one from Kleinfelds, but cancelled the order, I lost my deposit, so techincaly it's not my first dress. I don't have a pic of that one though. And, really... who is counting?)

Final dress: https://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/files/Moncherie%20Liz.jpg By MonCherie. BUT, I am changing the dress from what you see in the pic. First I'm removing that God awful sash and replacing it with a plain ivory satin one. And second, the dress is a halter, and I'm going to make it into a V neck. Alterations are already scheduled. Just waiting for my dress to get in.

Honest opinions about first dress: I think it is very fashionable and edgy and I think its gorgeous. Just not for my wedding. Personally, though I'd want something less edgy and less likely to date in my photos.

ETA: OOPS. IGNORE the edgy comment-- I missed the fact that the trim color will be different. With black trim it's edgy. With gold or ivory, and without her severe look and makeup... I think it's quite stunning. SORRY!

Hi Harriet! I had to follow your new trail to find you all the way over here!

I am so glad you found dresses you like!

I personally am not too fond of the first one, but if you love it and can rock it, I say GO FOR IT!!!

I actually ADORE the second dress...it is absolutely perfect and will look stunning in red!

Congrats! Now...how do we get those tsavorites of yours to go with a Valentino red dress???

Gypsy, I absolutely love your dress.

We can''t. It''ll look like Christmas.

The first one is fun, but a little young IMO.

The second one, now that one is FABULOUS!
