Does my set need a spacer band?

Hi all,

I recently ordered a half eternity shared prong wedding band online -I believe it’s about .09 pointer 11 stone. I am having a hard time figuring out whether I will need a spacer band between it and my ering.
I have a very high set halo and the wedding band lined up pretty perfectly under it. However, i still want to make sure that I’m protecting my ering.
The band and ering are both 18k gold. I have attached some photos of how they sit.

In addition, what would be the best material for the spacer band if I in fact do need one?

Thanks in advance :)BB547069-2656-4E17-AFA4-60965AA2CCE0.jpeg4E70C737-C854-4700-8AAF-4B6D94EF6A33.jpeg0DD9E094-E9FF-4682-B64B-D91F1D3A337D.jpegE3571B32-896C-4F00-B661-B492C0B3B5E4.jpeg

Very pretty!

You could order a 1mm spacer ring in the same material as the rings :)

Very pretty! I have the same problem. I decided to get a knife edge band...I hardly even notice it but it does the trick. I was very against a knife edge band until I purchased one. I love it now. I agree to try to get one in the same material. I didn’t though...My engagement ring is 18k but I purchased a 14k white gold one from Blue Nile that I’m very happy with. I use it to protect my engagement ring from my uprong platinum eternity band. The diamonds in the band would saw into my engagement ring setting without one.

I would recommend one. I have a bunch I made in silver that I use as a spacer or keeper-tighters when my fingers get smaller in the cold. But, you can also match the same metal you have, make it contrast, or add some texture. Its all about what you want.

Here's a stack of the day thread.
